Refugee
A refugee is a person who has been forced to leave their home country due to a well-founded fear of persecution, conflict, violence, or human rights violations. They flee their home to seek safety and protection in another country. Refugees often leave behind their homes, possessions, and sometimes even their families, in order to escape dire circumstances.
The importance of refugee support is rooted in the need to provide assistance and protection to these individuals who have been uprooted from their homes and are in vulnerable situations.
